The Process of Taking Photos
Hi, my name is Patrick Milne, and I started taking photos with my iPhone as a hobby and it was not until the fall of 2019 that I used a Nikon Camera. My love for photography began as a hobby, not knowing my love of photography as a hobby has now become my career. Also, sometimes if I am with or without my Nikon Camera while I am walking, I see my moment to take photos, either I go get my camera quickly to take photos or I take the photos when I have my camera on me. Lastly, I research the places I go before I go there, sometimes I know the place well enough that I do not need to do that like John Chesnut Sr. Park and Lansbrook Commons Park Private Property, but if it is a new place that I have not went there to take photos, like Lansbrook Lakefront Park (Private) and Philippe Park Safety Harbor, then I do my research before I go there, so I can get a good understanding of where I am going and what photos I am going to take.
I enjoy going outside and seeing how the day changes depending on the time, morning and afternoon. Going for walks and taking photographs makes me see things that I otherwise do not see. I like to capture views in nature that anyone can overlook. I also enjoy photographing wildlife like birds, squirrels, rabbits, etc.
I never knew this would be my career path. Taking photos with my Nikon Camera changed the way I think of taking photos. My love for photography has always been my passion, so that is what I decided to pursue. It gives me a chance to show the world how I view things. With that said, I take photos because it makes me happy.
